I will travel again

Traveling is a part of learning; I love traveling. In fact, I don't mind being a travel blogger if I have the chance.

I don't just travel for traveling sake but for more knowledge, to learn culture, tradition,, and their varieties of food.

One sweet sour travel that I did was during my nysc. I was posted to Ondo State for service. I woke up very early before anybody in my compound woke up, I was on my way to the bus terminal.

We started our journey by 8:00am after they had finished telling me that the bus leaves by 6am.

Anyway, on our way, I slept cause I didn't sleep well because of anxiety, I didn't want to miss my bus, and before I got a straight vehicle, it was war. So you can imagine my fear.

Idanre hills

As soon as we entered Ondo State, the first thing I noticed was the rocks and mountains. And how big the state was, we stopped at Ore to buy food; I was amazed at how business is booming there. Well, I tried to buy food, but it was very expensive, I bought some suya and plantains, but I couldn't eat those plantains and groundnuts.

Got to the camp at about 6:35 pm in the evening. The first thing that hit me at the camp was cold, although it was during the rainy season. The camp was surrounded by mountains, hence the cold.

After camp, I was posted to one of the villages; I was very pissed at first cause on our way to the village, I was posted took 7 hours, almost the hours I spent coming to the camp within a state that's a whole lot of time.

Getting to the village, No electricity, no good house, but they have good roads, no good place to buy food. I was frustrated at first. I just took the bus the next day back to my base cause I couldn't manage that place, but my clo (Chief liaison officer)kept calling. I managed to come back, but as time went on, I decided to explore the environment.

I was later given a good house with good water and solar energy installed by my landlady, a kind-hearted Yoruba woman. Anyways, apart from her house, nowhere to charge phones except for you to go and pay to charge with the generator at the junction.

Look over the picture, see mountains

That our phone wasn't stolen was grace cause we usually plugged it in the corridor with an extension and go to bed, locking the corridor doors. Still, it wasn't safe, but God saw us through.

I visited Okitipupa which is the only place we can buy fast food, bush meat or have some enjoyment, idanre hill's is full of life, you get to meet other adventure people but that place is kind of expensive, I do frequently one of the villages that catch fish a lot, arogbo is not all that develop compare to the village I was then.

In fact, I will say it was paradise to them, and Igbobini wasn't developed but peaceful but always in a land dispute with Irele.

Would I want to visit there again, maybe not sure but even if I do,not more than two days, am off
