I'm sure that everyone of us here has at one point in our lives thought about what it will be like if we had some certain supernatural abilities, if you guys didn't, I know I did. We've thought about what our superhero name would be and what our superhero costume would look like. But then I wonder why we always associate super powers with super heroes or villians. Can't there just be a normal dude with super power living his day to day life without trying to save anyone.
I know that the thoughts of people with super powers saving other people is highly influenced by the movies we see, but the truth is, if I had super powers, the last thing I would want to do is wear some underwear on the outside of my trouser trying to save everyone while at the same time working for a news paper company.
The truth is, if I had super powers and I had no intentions of doing anything bad with it, I'm just going to continue living my every day to day life while using my super powers to make things easier for me. I know the temptation to want to show off would be there every once in a while but then I wouldn't make it a thing whereas I work at Domino's during the day and just run around beating and killing bad guys at night, when do I sleep?
With all of that said, if I was asked to pick one super power, it definitely would be none other than the power of speed. Why speed you might ask, but why not?
With speed, I can do almost anything, be it at work or anywhere. I would be efficient everywhere. Imagine getting up from bed at 7:59am meanwhile you have to be at work by 8:00 and yet you still get there on time. So yeah that is it. If I'm ever to be given a super power, I pray it's the power of speed and then maybe I finally will be able to say that my name is Canice and I'm the fastest man alive.
