A few minutes to make a change

Often times I’ve found myself lost in thoughts, thinking about how life would be if I had the ability to bend time to my will. No doubt time travel is one of the best superpowers any one could ever possess but then when it’s only for a limited amount of time like ten minutes, then you have to be careful what you use it for.

When I first saw the contest prompt, I had to think really hard, not because I was finding it difficult to come up with any thing to write, no. The moment I read the prompt, a lot of things came to mind instantly but then this to me feels like I’m actually traveling back in time even though I know it’s just my imagination so I’m trying to really write something meaningful, something that I really wish I had done when I had the chance to.

And after taking my time to think, I’ve come to the conclusion that if I was given the opportunity to go back in time for ten minutes then the one person I would want to meet is myself. You see, based on my own past, ten minutes will really do nothing for me. But I know for a fact that if my past self saw my current self, he would believe whatever it is I say to him because I happen to believe in supernatural stuff happening and seeing another of myself is surely supernatural.

I will immediately ask him to get a book and pen and then just predict the whole future for him. Tell him what crypto will be a big deal few years from now and how many bored ape Nft to buy too lol.

I also will give some really good advise about my family to him. I will ask him to spend more time with them because he might now know it now, but he will regret not doing so in the future.

I’m sure that by the time my ten minutes is up, I must have said a lot of things for him that when I finally come back to the present, my life will be completely different in the best way possible.
