I think a downside to Soulkeep basically only having tournament play is that there isn't as much talk about the game. Everyone of course wants what edge they can get. I'd like to share a tip that will help many of you if you're not already familiar... Selling back towers & spells.
You've likely seen and already used the sell back button on the left hand side of your towers when you click on them.
See those 2 circling arrows? That's the sell back button. You can use it to refund yourself a tower and deploy it again if you don't like where you placed it. You get the mana spent back if you haven't used it in combat yet. If you have used it, you only get half what you paid for it. Be aware if you use Cheapo first to lower the tower's cost and then sell it back you get the reduced mana you spent back but do NOT get to recast cheapo again so be careful.
Most or possibly all of you know about this but I know not all of know you can sell back most spells as well. Note Heartgiver can not be sold back, it doesn't deploy it works immediately. Selling back spells works mostly the same as with towers. If you deploy a spell and don't like where/how it is deployed click on the spell icon at the bottom of the screen again.
The sell back button is now right above the selected spell. Just like a tower click on the button to sell back and re-deploy that spell if needed. If half your Mana Mania is off the path and useless, now you can get it jussssst right...but watch that clock ticking down. 😅
Besides fixing how/where a spell is placed, you can sell back a deployed spell in later rounds if it wasn't triggered. If your just short of deploying a new tower you need and that Venus Fiendtrap you placed last round didn't get used, you can sell it back to possibly get the tower. You can also use sell back on Cheapo and Buildmaster to check if you want to use it but ONLY if you don't complete the process. Click Cheapo or Buildmaster. Look at how much the tower, spell or upgrade would cost. If you don't want to use Cheapo/Buildmaster yet(maybe you barely don't have enough mana) click on Cheapo/Buildmaster again and the sell back button will appear like for a deployed spell and you can uncast the spell.
