I decided to post photos from this shoot I did a while ago, because it reminds me of the good old times.
Being stuck in a remote location, far from my favourite models and my favourite locations makes me very nostalgic sometimes.
I miss location scouting and setup. I miss trying to direct the amateur models (because I was just starting out as well). I was still learning how to balance off camera flash with ambient light, and how to get consistent exposure across many photos. All in all, I'm grateful for growth.
Yes, I am trying to make the best of my current situation, but I miss the good old days.
The photos below were taken on the Panasonic GH4 with the G Vario 35-100mm f4-5.6.
I had the Godox tt685 flash in a Godox 80cm umbrella softbox. All edited in Photoshop.
I enhanced the autumn 'vibe', which complimented his skin tone nicely.
