Some time ago I tried to take several pictures of Linz from above during the blue hour in summer. Probably one of the best views you can find is when visiting the Pöstlingberg that is situated in the north of Linz, this is the spot where I took these pictures here. During summer time the blue hour is longer and later in the evening that's why I use this time of the year to take some picture of the cityscape. I usually have more time to take some pictures during the summer time since the blue hour is a lot longer in summer than in winter. And another thing is that it is way more comfortable standing there in moderate temperatures and waiting for the perfect time for the photos.
I edited the first picture in Photoshop a little bit to get this more "golden" look.
