A tea for the art of loving you/ Un té para el arte de Amarte

In this rainy season in my country we do not escape from catching a cold and always in these times we seek to take infusions with relaxing and medicinal effects that contribute to relieve flu symptoms. That is why when we left my son's last pediatric consultation we decided to stop by one of my favorite coffee shops. It was the first time my son didn't want to stop by because of how bad he was feeling, but we were close to leaving the office and there was still a long way to go to get home.
So I persuaded him to treat him to a hot chamomile drink with a touch of lemon and honey along with some cookies to spoil him a little.

I am almost sure it was the best decision besides being a great place which I have already told you about in another post, after the tea it was a delightful experience for our bodies. He was a little cranky due to the discomfort and all the medicines we had to buy and he had to take according to the doctor's instructions, but he told me very cordially that it was delicious and yes it was. We felt wonderful and with more encouragement to return home also the oatmeal cookies and chocolate chip cookies had their effect.

That day I also explained to him that it was his last pediatric consultation due to his age, since he turned 13 on October 17th. This made him a little more confident and wanting to feel like an adult made him feel more confident. That moment of tea was a special time that I did not want to waste so that it would remain registered in his memory as the place, the atmosphere, the music and the recuperative effects of the tea caused a significant memory between mother and son.

It is nice to understand that it does not always have to be perfect health conditions or a vacation or an outdoor place to cultivate happiness and that it depends on our attitude to value the moments with our family.
"

I loved this moment between him and me. At the end of the tea and conversation we left the place and continued our return home but not before passing by another remodeled cafe where it was just an ice cream shop and now it is more versatile as all cafe places in Venezuela with new concepts. We enjoyed the Halloween decoration AND THE TEA WITH THE ART OF LOVING YOU, SON.
