Cheers, to all my dear fellow community members. 👍🎉

Do you want to hear about the history of coffee in my country? It all began with a long, arduous journey about four hundred years ago, when the famous sage Baba Buddha brought seven magical beans from remote Yemen and planted them on the Chandragiri hills of Karnataka.

But you have to read it from the beginning

You can savor that uniqueness in coffee with every cup you drink, the aroma and blend of Indian coffee. It is often said that the growers of Indian coffee do their best to improve it all the time. These parts of India have been producing and exporting unique varieties of quality coffee for over 200 years.

If you want to visit some coffee resorts, I assure you that it will be a wonderful experience, just as if you visited wine tasting resorts in different countries that are famous for their wineries, etc.

Here we go-

This story begins HERE

Arabic exotic beans and the Chamundi Hills of Mysore have a close relationship with each other. These beans are large in size, are rare, and are one of the most premium coffees available in the world today. This coffee is prepared after a long process of washing the exotic Arabica beans, common in the various regions of Chikmagalur, Coorg, Biligiri, Bababudangari, and Shevaroy in Karnataka and Kerala. They are almost bluish green in appearance, but you get an aromatic thrill when served in a cup as coffee. Let me tell you, these medium-sized coffee beans impart a distinctive and strange flavor with a mild tinge of spice.

We consider it the most premium and royal coffee made using Robusta beans, and the process of making it is long and time consuming. It is made using Robusta parchment AB, which is found only in the Coorg, Wayanad, Chikmagalur, and Travancore regions. These large beans have a rounded shape and pointy ends. This is bluish and provides a complete coffee delight with a mellow flavor.

Chikmagalur, as we all know, is one of the places where we started growing coffee in India. In fact, I won’t be exaggerating if I say that Chikmagalur is the "Land of Coffee" in Karnataka. This hill is the highest peak in this range, in the northern part of the foothills of Malayangiri and in the Western Ghats of Karnataka state. The climate here favors coffee production, which is one of the most valuable assets of this particular region. Some of the other coffee-growing areas in the region are Kodagu, Coorg, and Hassan.
