Hello hello my dear and appreciated bees who love the magnificent liquid of life! Those who have seen my posts know how much I love to meet new coffee shops and that is the reason that has brought me here once again. Tell me who does not love to go for a delicious coffee in a great place and with a great company? I think we can answer that everyone, because there is nothing better than spending a very pleasant time with this spectacular liquid that delights our taste buds when we drink it and do it with special people. 🥰
A few days ago my partner and I wanted to do something different since we had decided to do something every day that we could enjoy a lot and we thought it would be a good idea to go to a coffee shop that we had seen a few days ago and that caught our attention because although the place was quite small and simple, the small tables were outdoors and right on the sidewalk so we thought it was so nice that we had to go. We thought that going at 5 pm would be a good time since it was outdoors and in the city at about that time it was a nice sunset and a cooler atmosphere. Since it was a coffee shop that neither of us had visited before, we were quite excited to try the coffee and see if it would turn out to be one of the best coffees we had ever tasted or at least delicious.
When we arrived we saw that there was a special promotion just for that day for a small combo consisting of a coffee and a dessert for $1, which to me and my partner seemed like a good price. The place was quite cute, very uncluttered, it had some small wooden tables and I love this so much in coffee shops, plus they were decorated with a cactus as a centerpiece and some small designs that looked like they were made in spray paint of a steaming cup of coffee and something that looked like a territorial map packet. This place gave me a coffee on the beach vibe as it was very breezy and although there was still a bit of sun, it didn't feel bothersome, but rather warm as it soon started to get a bit chilly. 🤭
There was a huge variety of coffees and this is something that fascinates me and at the same time not because I love having options in coffee but at the same time is where the indecisive part of me comes into play that doesn't allow me to easily choose a flavor. So after taking my time to think about it and almost deciding on my safe and favorite option which is the mocha, I decided to give a chance to a type of coffee that I had never tried before and surprise myself....
This coffee of which I must admit I do not remember the name, was very similar to the mocca but with the particularity of having a little cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper, yes, as you read, pepper! Every time I tell it I remember my partner's face when I told him the ingredients of this coffee and when I asked for it to the guy who was attending the place, thinking that maybe I could regret my choice but it was not so.
I wanted to try a different coffee and all the ingredients that accompanied the one of my choice seemed quite delicious except the black pepper, so I decided to order it but without adding it and so they did, they prepared my coffee without black pepper although today I think that maybe I should have tried it and maybe I was surprised with the flavor, possibly another time I can try it without removing that peculiar ingredient and know what is its touch in that coffee. The presentation was really beautiful in small cups with a nice design. This coffee was accompanied with some cinnamon rolls which are our favorite and I must admit that they were totally delicious.
We had such a great time that we plan to go again the next time we are together and maybe make this place one of our favorite coffee shops. I loved everything about this place, from the simplicity of its decoration, the location, the fact that it was outdoors and of course the delicious coffee and cinnamon rolls they served us and the best thing is that this coffee shop not only offers that delicious coffee that we love so much but many other delicacies that I will tell you about in a next post🤭. I look forward to the next visit.
