I know this is cliché, but like others, a cup of perfectly blended coffee lifts my spirits whenever I'm feeling dejected.
That day, I was feeling down for no reason at all. Maybe it's because my period was coming up or maybe I was just stressed because of work and personal issues. As the 'baby' of the group and the clown that makes everyone laugh all the time, my friends can easily notice whenever I'm not in a good mood. Apparently, they also know the perfect way to boost it!
So after our meeting, they randomly decided for us to go to Coffee Project East a.k.a. CP QC East. It's a thirty-minute drive away from home, but the drive is worth it!
Upon entering the premise of the cafe, the aesthetic design immediately caught my eyes. I instantly felt good just looking at the interior of the building.
The ambiance is very relaxing. Even the mirror near the comfort room looks aesthetic, so I took a mirror selfie.
I can't miss to strike a pose. This was taken at the ground floor of the building.
Look! I found a book with my name on it! With a different spelling tho. (Shiela).
It was only around 5 pm when we arrived here so the cafe wasn't full with customers. It's just us and a few people on the first floor. We opted to stay at a table on the second floor.
We took some photos while waiting for the waiter to give us the menu.
We haven't ordered our drinks yet but I was already beaming with joy. Seems like I only need to go somewhere to feel good lol.
And finally, our coffee arrived! I ordered a medium sized Spanish latte for myself and they had theirs too.
I think we look kina cute in here. And oh, that's not my mom or grandma, she's a friend. See why I'm the 'baby'? Lol
I also like the coffee shop's freedom-wall like feature where you can write anything on post it notes and put it on the wall. You can search for you post it when you go back :)
Writing my note.
Posting it on the wall.
Here's what I wrote: 'stay focused', because I felt like I was losing focus on the important things I had to do.
Tsadaaan! Look how happy I am.
At the end of the day, it seems like my friends' goal to lift my spirits that day was a success.
