It doesn't have to be the most unique, rare or the most beautiful thing, for mushroom lovers all mushrooms are special. Every journey will always be a note on the leaves, it is written as a story for something left behind. Many of the trips I've taken with friends here have been about us and mushrooms.
Likewise, the seasons change, we always count them, we touch them at every opportunity, where we and the mushrooms that grow are interconnected lives. We will always miss when one piece of fungus has lived forever in this lens, and it has gone into nothingness. However, this mushroom will continue to live here, in the container containing this auspicious image.
Hopefully in the future the path which has dried out, will be wet again by the rain that falls tonight. And that path will continue to be a witness in silence. Tonight, a few pieces of this mushroom are an unforgettable memory.
