FungiFriday - Don't uncover me until spring

If only they knew they were not going to survive until then... silly shrooms.

This is the same lovely autumn forest I showed you yesterday. The thick layer of rustling leaves feels so nice to walk on. One feels like a kid when dragging the shoes through them, making as much noise and mess as possible.
I do that every time anyway :)

And in those leaves, once in a while, I could spot some nice big hats. I am sure more small mushrooms were hiding under it, but I was not digging through all the mess to look for them. I wanted the big and flashy ones this time.

They look so comfortable and cozy there.
The top purple was my favourite. I like when they flip, exposing the gills. Plus the colour of course - a very pretty mushroom!

Not far from it, I saw a different type. There were plenty of those around. Pale grey hats are also much easier to spot.

And last one, which I think is an Amanita I saw next to fallen tree roots. It is that pile of moss behind it. And if you look closely, you will also notice tiny mushrooms growing from that moss.
It must have been a while since the tree fell.

A bonus:
Some tree that was growing close to the path was cut down. It decided to grow anyway. Most of the leaves are gone or munched by some hungry creature. Now it is just some twigs left sticking out from a carpet of dead leaves.

All alone.

Naked.

Covered in spiderwebs.

Nature is so dramatic :p
