We don't quite have the land/ farm yet, but we are working on it and getting closer to it.
This weekend for the first time we went to a Feria Ganaderia (Livestock Expo), in Santa Ana.
I guess every July, the Livestock Expo takes place in Santa Ana, which is where we live. We almost missed it, since it has been here in Santa Ana for a week already, and this was the last weekend, since in August the expo is in San Salvador. We were very lucky, since out of nowhere we thought of the Livestock Expo and when we checked, it was right where we live
This place was very nice and organized with quite a bit of parking space. We were there around 11 oclock, which was a good time, since it wasn't very busy, but it started to get more busy when we were leaving. I guess more people come around 3 pm, since it's not super hot by then and there are night live concerts here also.
This place had all different sections. When you enter, you can see the horses in their stables, a rodeo, and then a space for the cows and bulls. Right next to the cows there was a section where you could buy all the farming tools, machines, trucks and all the cowboy/ farming merchandise.
Right next to that, you can enjoy all kinds of food and drinks in a pretty big food court, where the all kinds of shows and live concerts take place.
We were so lucky to have met a very nice couple who take care of this place and the horses. We have learned some things from them and they invited us to come and see them in August (during this expo, the cattle is twice as expensive, because it's a show where the best cattle is shown) so that they can help us and direct us with the purchase of the cattle, since they have been working with the horses and the cattle, here for over 35 years, so they know all about farming and where to buy good quality animals at a good price, since they know all the farmers etc.
What a blessing that is. Hopefully we can get our land/farm soon so that we can start buying our animals.
There were quite few different kinds of cattle which was great to see and compare the prices and how much milk the cows give. Some cattle are better for milking and some cattle are better for meat and some are good for both. The prices here ranged from $3,000 to $10,000.
We had a very good experience and we really enjoyed our 1st Livestock Expo here in El Salvador and hope that you enjoyed it.
Thank you for stopping by. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Have a wonderful Friday.

I am a great supporter of @familyprotection which is working very hard to help the families stay together and this project is the most
amazing project that I would suggest for everyone in this hive community to check it out and support it and by doing it we are helping people in need who are trying to keep their kids safe from being taken away (kidnapped) by the Social Services. Here is the link Click here
