A Day of Rest and Productivity

Hello friends,

Today, I didn't go to school because there were no lessons. I stayed home, attending to chores and working on school projects.

I woke up very late, why wouldn't I, since today was a break from school and stress? On other days, I barely get any sleep, let alone sleep well. Since there was no lesson, I decided to stay in bed until Mama called, and sure enough, I did.

I got up a few minutes past 9 to sweep the compound, have breakfast, and take a bath. After that, I went back to bed, this time to unwind from the previous day's stress. Sleeping wasn't enough to fully recharge, so I watched some TV series recommended by a friend and read a bit. I also checked my messages and replied to the important ones before heading out to fetch water.

Completing my project was the next task after fetching water. The project involved designing the structure of a website using Figma. You might wonder what a web development student has to do with product design— isn't that the job of a UI/UX designer?

Indeed, it is, but as one of my tutors always says, a developer needs to have knowledge of product design. This way, in the absence of a product designer, they can still create products that are user-centered and user-friendly. That is why my classmates and I are taking a week-long course on product design.

After finishing my assignment, or rather, after my laptop's battery died, I still had some time to laze around. So, I played with my hair and took some pretty pictures before heading out to do some cleaning.

Below are some pictures from my cleaning activity.
