June 21, 2024// Sorry for the mess!

No matter how clean my house is, I always have the habit of telling visitors “sorry for the mess”. Most people that I say it up will like around and just burst out laughing. They will be like, how can I call this a mess? But I think I have become accustomed to it. I don’t know how I can stop the habit, but it does not really matter anyways.

People usually reply positively, they will say that my place looks so great. It’s not as if I was finding or bringing out compliments from the visitor’s mouth, it’s more of a reflex action. Some just tell me that I am funny, to have said something like that. Even I know that my house looks great, but I will always apologize. I guess I picked it up from my mother. She would always say that what you believe is clean can always be cleaner.
Hence it has influenced my attitude towards cleanness. I will probably keep it up for years to come.
