Chores And Cleaning 19/10/2024

As much as I love the weekends and the relaxation they bring, I mean which other day do I get to unwind a little but Saturday? The reality is, some chores still need to get done. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming that I spend my entire Saturday just working myself out on chores, having little or no time at all to rest.

One thing I do which is not so good is not getting started on time. Sometimes I get caught up with having my me time and by evening I figure out that I have wasted so much time doing nothing . So lately, I've planned out how to get my chores done on time while also having my own time to do my personal stuff. I set the time I know would be enough to get something done and when the time is up, I know I'm done. Plus, it stops me from getting distracted and spending too long on one chore. I know that once the timer goes off, it’s time to move on to the next thing. It makes the process feel less overwhelming.

During the week, I’ve also learned to clean a little as I go. By the time Saturday comes around, the mess isn’t so bad, and cleaning feels much easier. Letting everything pile up on Saturday isn't just the way to go. With these little hacks, I’ve found I can finish cleaning pretty quickly and still enjoy my Saturday. Also I still have some time left for the main cleaning you know, in and out the streets, great way to get useful.
