Rostros de India
The faces of India
For my first @theterminal Challenge, (which I had to redo because I had to curate a recent post) I decided to write a curation post about @Backpackingmonk who through his photos dedicates his account to make us want to visit India, a nation that has me delighted for as long as I can remember.
In the post The Mystic its author has managed to present to us the process and specifications of a photo that connects us with the beauty of a look and a smile, to show us the wealth of wisdom that we can find walking through India. It is very powerful to capture this tranquility and mysticism in a photo that does not show large crowds of devotees, or impressive temples but the simplicity of a casual and almost unrepeatable photo that has everything necessary to make us feel hopeful and serene, moving away from the feeling of uncertainty of our current lifestyle.
Simple but forceful are the publications of @backpackingmonk, in a few words and powerful images it manages to make us question the fast pace of modern life and makes us want to connect with its search, the feeling of being happy and complete that he captures in its photographs. "If you want to be happy, you have to want to see others happy too" I know this phrase as a Hindu proverb, and I think that for this reason the author of this blog works so much in his photographs, seeking to see happiness and also peace, tranquility and wisdom in others to find it for himself, I hope that his search is fruitful, meanwhile you all can live India through the lens of his camera.
Namaste
