Art From a National Sculpture Master

Museums calms me and gives me a moment of peace. Each room I enter opens my mind to magnificent artworks from the past. Let me share with you today a few photos that I took when I last visited the Philippine National Museum.

The artworks in this room were made by Philippine National Sculptor named Guillermo E. Tolentino.
Materials used in these works are marble, plaster of Paris and polychrome resin.

Of all the sculptures in this room. The marble praying angel is my favorite. I love religious sculptures especially the old ones in old churches.

General Douglas MacArthur in a well known general in the Philippines. He played an important role during the war in the Pacific.
