When we celebrated the birthday of my wife...

Yesterday was the birthday of my wife @ranjitha. This is her second birthday after getting married to me. Even though the covid lockdown set a great limit to the extent of celebrations, we tried to do our level best to make the day cherishable.

My wife got up very early in the morning to get ready and prepare some special food for herself and for others in our family. At around 7'o clock in the morning we cut her birthday cake and ventured to a nearby temple to offer prayers to the Hindu god she believes in.

It is me who is driving the car and the one that takes selfie is the birthday girl. My sister could also be seen in the picture. The picture seems to be little shaky as it was taken while the car was still moving.

And finally we reached the destination where the concrete idol of lord Vinayaka is located.

Though I'm an atheist who never takes part in anything that involves the so called God, I never stop others from doing whatever business they like. My wife is a big believer of God and as a husband I shouldn't stop her from believing what she likes.

Soon after this visit, we went ahead to visit another temple which is located over a hilltop nearby. On the way to there, I also took the to the high school where I studied from grade 8 to 12.

The above photo was taken from the hilltop. After visiting all these places I continued to drive the car for another one hour to enjoy the scenic beauty of our place.

It turned out to be an awesome experience for us!
