Hi everyone. Capturing small objects in a photographic image is perhaps one of the most exciting and attractive things out there. This branch of photographic art is called “Macrophotography”.

Nature has a lot of beauty, beautiful landscapes, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the flight of birds in a clear blue sky, but there is also a lot of beauty in those little things that we cannot capture or simply see with the naked eye.

It is there that macrophotography stands out since with this branch of photography we can capture the beautiful beauty that exists in that tiny life.

For example, the beauty of the texture of the wings of a butterfly, of a bee when it perches on a flower, of the shine of a drop of water on the petals of a flower.

Macrophotography is simply capturing small objects with the naked eye in an image and making them appear in that image with very large dimensions in relation to the actual size of the object.

All cameras have this option and we just have to learn how to use it to take advantage of taking really beautiful images of nature that we cannot contemplate daily.

Macrophotography has stood out more than anything else in biology where images of tiny objects have been taken, and this has helped biologists to study and understand what life is like in that very small world.

To capture beautiful images with macro photography it is not necessary to go to the field or be in a place with a spectacular landscape. Wherever we are, there is beauty, it's just a matter of looking for it in those tiny little details that surround us.

Maybe there you will see an ant carrying a piece of leaf and that would be an excellent image. Or you are in the garden of your house and you see a flower in its splendor and it would also be a very beautiful image.

If you want, you can also use special effects such as spraying water on the flower and the drops of water on the petals give a feeling of freshness and give it a special touch of beauty to be captured in an image.

The idea is to be able to make small things look big before our eyes and we can enjoy that beauty.

For this, it is good to always be attentive and prepared because anywhere and at any time we can be presented with a unique and special image that we can capture with our camera, although as I said before, beauty is everywhere you just have to know how to look for it But there are also times when we are given the unique and unrepeatable opportunity to achieve a very good macro photographic image.

Although I must say that I am not a photography professional but a lover of this art who walks with his camera ready to take any image that catches my attention and share it with you.

¿Qué es la Macrofotografia?

Captar objetos pequeños en una imagen fotográfica es tal vez una de las cosas más apasionantes y atractivas que existen. Esta rama del arte fotográfico se llama “Macrofotografía”.

La naturaleza tiene mucha belleza, paisajes hermosos, lindos amaneceres y atardeceres, el vuelo de las aves en un cielo azul y límpido pero existe también mucha belleza en aquellas cosas pequeñas que no podemos captar o sencillamente ver a simple vista.

Es ahí donde la macrofotografía se destaca, ya que con esta rama de la fotografía podemos captar la hermosa belleza que existe en esa vida minúscula. Por ejemplo la belleza de la textura de las alas de una mariposa, de una abeja cuando se posa en una flor, del brillo de una gota de agua en los pétalos de una flor.

La macrofotografía es sencillamente captar en una imagen objetos pequeños a simple vista y hacer que aparezcan en esa imagen con dimensiones muy grandes con relación al tamaño real del objeto.

Todas las cámaras fotográficas tienen esta opción y solo tenemos que aprender a usarla para aprovechar de tomar imágenes realmente hermosas de la naturaleza que no podemos contemplar a diario.

La macrofotografía se ha destacado más que todo en la biología en donde se han podido tomar imágenes de objetos diminutos, y esto ha ayudado a los biólogos a estudiar y comprender como es la vida en ese mundo tan pequeño.

Para captar imágenes hermosas con la macrofotografía no es necesario ir al campo o estar en un lugar con un paisaje spectacular.

En cualquier parte donde nos encontremos hay belleza, solo es cuestión de buscarla en esos pequeños detalles minúsculos que nos rodean. Ta vez ahí veras a una hormiga cargando un trozo de hoja y esa sería una excelente images.

O estás en el jardín de tu casa y ves una flor en su esplendor y también sería una muy bonita imagen.

Si quieres puedes también usar efectos especiales como por ejemplo rociarle agua a la flor y las gotas de agua en los pétalos dan una sensación de frescura y le dan un toque especial de belleza como para ser captada en una imagen.

La idea es poder lograr que las cosas pequeñas se vean grandes ante nuestros ojos y podamos disfrutar de esa belleza.

Para esto es bueno estar siempre atentos y preparados porque en cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento se nos puede presentar una imagen única y especial que podemos captar con nuestra cámara, aunque como ya lo dije antes, belleza hay en todas partes solo hay que saber buscarla pero también hay momentos en donde se nos da la oportunidad única e irrepetible de lograr una muy buena imagen macro fotográfica.

Aunque debo aclarar que no soy un profesional de la fotografía pero si un amante de este arte que anda con su cámara lista para tomar cualquier imagen que me llame la atención y compartirla con ustedes.
