June marks a beautiful time of the year. At this time, a lot of flowers are everywhere. Among them, there are krisna chura, jarul, kathgolap, muhua and other flowers. Every day when it is time to go to university I watch with fascinated eyes. Some day I will share it with you.I have shared many of these which you can see on my YouTube channel.
On this beautiful day, I am here with a beautiful recipe. That is the Alu Puri. It is known in all countries of the Asian continent and is among the favorite foods of young to old people.
Ingredients –
- Flour or flour
- Oil
- salt
- Water
- boiled potatoes
- Dry chillies
- Chop onion
- Tetul
- Bit salt
- spices
Step 1-
There are 5 members in our family. I have taken enough flour that everyone can eat. You will take a perfect amount of flour from your family members. Then I gave enough oil and salt. After that, I mixed the water and kneaded the dough.
Step 2-
Since potatoes are pureed, this puri is made by putting potato flour inside the dough. So I boiled potatoes. Peeled the potato.
Step 3-
Then I fried some dry chillies. You can take as much chilli as you eat jhal. I took chopped onion with it. Mash potatoes, onions and chillies together well.
Step 4-
Take a small amount of flour and make a round shape. The number of parts of Aloo and flour is equal but the quantity is a little less than that of flour. Potatoes should be taken less as they have to be rolled inside the flour.
step 5-
Take a piece of it and wrap it with potato and make it into a round shape. I will make all round parts like this. I have shown in the picture.
Step 6-
Take each part of flour and potato and roll small bread. Then fry the bread in oil.

Step 7-
You will need something to eat with puri. Some eat with salad, some with chutney, and some eat without anything. It depends on one's choice. I have made Tetul Chutney.
Step 8-
The puris should be crushed and fried. The heat of the stove should be reduced. Finally, the puris should be served hot with tamarind chutney and salad.
We often make this as an evening snack. While making it, there may be some problems: the potato, the part put inside the flour, the potato can slowly come out while making the bread. Oil may splatter when it is fried. At this time, be careful and reduce the heat of the stove. The puris are more delicious when fried crispy.
Alu Puri is one of the popular dishes of Bangladesh and India. It is sold in shops as street food. We often buy and sometimes make our own. This delicious dish can be prepared in a very short time using very few ingredients. This is a recipe that can be made at home whenever you want.
Alu Puri is sold as street food. But I personally don't like buying food from outside. Because stored food is often unhealthy. Again the amount is not correct. Can't eat as much as you like. So I like to cook it at home. You will try to cook your own food at home. It will improve health and save money.
