Buenas tardes queridos amigos de Hive, últimamente he estado ausente por algunos meses, y hoy quiero compartir mis inquietudes a propósito de la lectura del libro "Ética de Urgencias" de Fernando Savater. Y lo hago a través de la siguiente pregunta:

Del libro “Ética de urgencias”, me llamó la atención el tema “La educación”. En él se comenta que antes el conocimiento para los niños venía de la escuela. Todo le era revelado poco a poco, en cuanto a temas de muerte, sexo, ambición, entre otros. Ahora, con el uso del internet, el mismo ha evolucionado con el paso del tiempo, y ya forma parte de sus vidas para la consulta e investigación. Esto también tiene sus desventajas y es con respecto a la argumentación, y a las fuentes donde se obtiene la información.
Hablando de argumentación, estamos tan acostumbrados a las redes sociales y su información, que cuando nos solicitan escribir un texto sobre cualquier tema, lo resumimos completamente, Dice Savater (2012): "(...) Lo mismo pasará si vamos a un examen tipo Twitter, donde tode se pueda resumir en una frase o un apotegma. Cuando una persona se configura para expresarse en 140 caracteres, (...) pierde capacidad para la argumentación, que es la médula del pensamiento.
Algo parecido me sucedió en el 1er lapso, me pidieron en la cátedra de Sociales argumentar sobre Eknatón, un Faraón quien quiso cambiar la religión egipcia y sus costumbres. Yo, ignorando la instrucción de argumentar, solo respondí que Eknatón quería hacer cambios a la religión, y nada más. Cuando me evaluaron, pensé que había salido bien, y no fue así. Aún me faltaba enumerar todos los cambios de Eknatón y lo más importante, argumentar.
Muchas de estas situaciones me preocupan, empiezo a dudar sobre el futuro. A veces pienso que como nosotros los jóvenes nos acostumbramos a las redes sociales e internet, vemos informaciones cortas (a veces falsas), y perdemos capacidad para argumentar en las clases.

También me preocupa la opción "copiar y pegar", en varias ocasiones las hemos usado para responder las tareas instantáneamente. Ahora, vamos avanzando más en la materia de Orientación, e internalizando sobre los libros de Savater, nos damos cuenta que el uso constante de esta opción no está bien, porque sacamos una información de internet, la colocamos, y no retenemos nada. También pienso que, si esto se convierte en un uso común, en el futuro no habrá explicaciones con las propias palabras, sino palabras encontradas en internet. Posiblemente haga que no pensemos ni discernamos cosas importantes.
Así que ¿Será que usamos el internet correctamente?
Actualmente, se está difundiendo entre todos los usuarios el tema de la inteligencia artificial, que trata de la capacidad que el ser humano le otorga a una máquina para pensar como si fuera otro humano. Capacidad que se ha usado en el ámbito educativo para ayudar a crear planes y actividades eficientes e innovadoras.
Pero también, hay jóvenes que usan la inteligencia artificial por comodidad y no investigar. Tal es el caso del nuevo “Chat-GPT”, herramienta en el que se le puede preguntar cualquier tipo de cosas, y éste responde en tan sólo un instante. Tiene la capacidad de generar información, textos, hasta poemas, entre otras cosas. Esta inteligencia artificial tiene su lado negativo en la educación, pueden pedirte un texto expositivo de cualquier tema, y por no querer realizarlo, sencillamente acudes a esta utilidad y le pides que genere un texto y misión cumplida para ti.

Estas tecnologías también me generan grandes inquietudes sobre el futuro, probablemente para resolver las situaciones, tengamos que depender todo el tiempo de esta tecnología, allí comienza nuestro temor de investigar por nuestra cuenta, especialmente para ahorrar tiempo.
¿Entonces cómo va a ser mi futuro profesional?, por ejemplo, quiero estudiar periodismo y tenga que investigar algún asunto que me puede tomar horas, hasta días recolectar toda la información para realizar un buen trabajo de investigación, y resulta que esta herramienta realiza con precisión lo solicitado y no toma un minuto realizarlo, por consiguiente, podría considerar que no tengo ningún esfuerzo intelectual.
Todas estas preocupaciones cambiaron, cuando leí una frase de Isaac Newton la cual dice:
“Si veo más lejos es porque he subido a hombros de gigantes”.
Para mí, esta frase la aplico de la siguiente manera:
-“Más Lejos” quiere hacer referencia a un “objetivo” que quiero alcanzar.
-Subirse a hombros de gigantes quiere decir:
Que los gigantes son los investigadores, pero también nuestros profesores que nos orientan, o nuestros compañeros que con sus críticas constructivas me ayudan a ver más allá de lo que veo ahora.
En conclusión, debemos aprender a usar de manera correcta el internet y estas tecnologías para investigar. Pero siempre tomando en cuenta que no vamos a depender de ellas para solucionar nuestros problemas. Para resolverlos, sólo hay que reflexionarlos e internalizarlos bien. Siempre lo más importante es argumentar.

Something similar happened to me in the 1st period, they asked me in the Social Sciences chair to argue about Eknatón, a Pharaoh who wanted to change the Egyptian religion and its customs. I, ignoring the instruction to argue, only replied that Eknaton wanted to make changes to religion, and nothing more. When they evaluated me, I thought that he had turned out well, and he did not. I still needed to enumerate all the changes of Eknatón and the most important thing, to argue.
Many of these situations worry me, I begin to doubt about the future. Sometimes I think that as we young people get used to social networks and the internet, we see short information (sometimes false), and we lose the ability to argue in class.

I am also concerned about the "copy and paste" option, on several occasions we have used it to answer tasks instantly. Now, we are advancing further in the matter of Orientation, and internalizing about Savater's books, we realize that the constant use of this option is not right, because we take information from the internet, we post it, and we do not retain anything. I also think that if this becomes a common usage, in the future there will be no explanations with one's own words, but words found on the internet. Possibly it makes us not think or discern important things.
So, could it be that we use the internet correctly?
Currently, the topic of artificial intelligence is being spread among all users, which deals with the ability that the human being gives a machine to think as if it were another human. Capacity that has been used in the educational field to help create efficient and innovative plans and activities.
But also, there are young people who use artificial intelligence for convenience and not to investigate. Such is the case of the new "Chat-GPT", a tool in which you can ask him any kind of thing, and he answers in just an instant. It has the ability to generate information, texts, even poems, among other things. This artificial intelligence has its negative side in education, they can ask you for an expository text on any topic, and because you don't want to do it, you simply go to this utility and ask it to generate a text and mission accomplished for you.

These technologies also cause me great concerns about the future, probably to resolve situations, we have to depend all the time on this technology, there begins our fear of investigating on our own, especially to save time.
So, how is my professional future going to be? For example, I want to study journalism and I have to investigate a matter that can take me hours, even days to collect all the information to carry out a good investigation, and it turns out that this tool performs with accurately what is requested and it does not take a minute to do it, therefore, I could consider that I do not have any intellectual effort.
All these concerns changed when I read a phrase by Isaac Newton which says:
"If I see further it is because I have climbed on the shoulders of giants."
For me, this phrase is applied as follows:
-“Further” wants to refer to an “objective” that I want to achieve.
-To climb on the shoulders of giants means:
That the giants are the researchers, but also our teachers who guide us, or our classmates who with their constructive criticism help me see beyond what I see now.
In conclusion, we must learn to use the internet and these technologies correctly to investigate. But always taking into account that we are not going to depend on them.
