About a month ago I visited the church I grow up at (st. Alphonsus catholic church). Visited my old room and guess what my reading table was till there! And I found a notebook I usually used to prepare post for @steemchurch now (@heartchurch) and Celestial challenge organized back in the day by @sirknight (who was actually the first person whom welcomed me on the steemit block chain). I took the notebook back home with me and later that evening, I decided to login to steemit just to bask in old memories and found out things where not exactly the same. So here I am introducing myself to the Hive community.
Why I Stopped Blogging
The priest I was staying with git transferred to another parish on the outskirts of the city my school was located. He asked me to focus more on school, which would require me getting a place in the school's hostel, but never the I can always come back home during the holidays. Adjusting from one environment to another can be very stressful and amongst that stress I unconsciously stopped blogging. But here I am people! I'm back!
I am Fona by name. currently a final year student in the university; studying electrical electronics engineering. I work at a NanoDoors (still a start up though) a subsidiary of Xigma.inc as both a software developer and embedded systems engineer.
NanoDoors is an educational technological company, aimed at improving the quality of learning for students in Africa and the world at large.
Apart from being a software and embedded systems engineer, I take elementary and junior high school students robotics every Thursday. Trust me nothing is more joyful compared to teaching!
In my free time i love writing poems or taking pictures while listening to good music (mostly jazz music)
The last time I was still blogging I didn't share much of my poetry because I felt most times I write for myself alone, but over the years I have been convinced by friends who claim that I write beautiful poetry to always share them. Little do they know that poetry is a mean to keep my emotions and mood in check. My pen is my only companion and my heart is it's ink.
I enjoy taking and creating beautiful pictures of nature when I am less busy. I shoot with a Nikon D5300, but I recently purchased a Canon 6D and I am going to be sharing the images I'll be making with the community. I recall there where amazing photographers on the block chain the likes of @sahrodion @thejotographer @beautifulbullies @omonosa
I live my life on two simple principle which are:
- love all, trust a few and do wrong to none.
- Do unto others as you want others to do unto you.
WHAT I WILL BE DOING In The Community
I am a lover of tech and really would want much persons to learn. I am going to be creating tech related contents (especially tutorials and how to related post) for both hardware and software.
As a photographer I will be sharing amazing pictures with a complete guide on how I eventually created the final images.
