Mid week has embraced us all with an opened arm again, and so far as we can see this then it simply means life has being good to us to see another bright sky. Even though today happens to be the third day after all final year students in tertiary resumed school. Yet many are still home and has not step foot on the campuses.
It is hard to live a life of letting everyone know you hate a loved one, when truly within you she is the one thing you cherish a lot. All the moments you spent together have now become a thing of the past by behavior but it happens to be an uneraserable moment within you. Those moments are being cherish when you are left alone at the walls when you are the only one around.
It is never easy at all when you are met with such situations in life. When you have to choose your mom over your love it hurts you but for the feel of your mother, you tend to live just to please her than what you actually feel.
This is why many hate it when ones life is being dictated by their family, there is no free will to act on the things you like to do and the freedom to many things are being limited to you as well. The tell you what to eat, wear, drive, standards for the person to bring home as a boyfriend or husband/wife to be. I have seen people meet such situations and it has made them to lose the very souls they really loved just because of these things.
I remember years ago when we were about getting into our final year on campus, I friend who I can’t mention the name told me how her girlfriend told him what she was told by his brothers. For them they don’t have a problem with her choosing anyone as her love but she should make sure whoever she brings or present to them as a husband to be must at least have his master’s degree.
Such an easy but a tough one it is for them now and because of this they might end up on different paths because of the specs given by her girlfriend’s brothers, who dictate everything for her to follow. I just hope this friend get his admission for the master’s programme soon. If not then they would be going separate ways.
Life has ways of presenting itself and we are not to let some of these happenings limit us to things that we are not ready for, if life was really fair then an educated person with his or her first degree would not take a job as a cleaner in an office just to survive. So we are not to rush up on pleasing others when we can make a huge turn around to be the big person you want to be.
