One of the reasons why I always look forward to Thursdays is because that is the day when James Clear sends his weekly newsletter. I find those to be very insightful and they always give me some food for thought.
The last edition was no different and these words on speed and acting fast really made me think. As someone who is starting their own business, I now understand the importance of speed and agility more than ever.
Just to illustrate with an example, we had a great opportunity to launch a new product last year but we hesitated a bit and the launch was delayed. It still has a lot of potential but, without going into many details, the advent of AI tools such as Chat-GPT will definitely reduce some of the impact of our new product when it hits the market.
If we had launched faster, even with an incomplete product, I believe we would be in a much better position right now.
