Tonight is going to be one of those nights... It's already past 9 pm and I still have at least 3 hours of work to do so I decided to make myself a drink to make things a beat more pleasant at least.

My choice for tonight was the Old Fashioned, mostly because I love whisky and also it's very easy to make.

All you need is:

  • 2 ounces of whisky (bourbon in this case)
  • half an ounce of simple syrup (although some people prefer demerara or even plain sugar)
  • 2 dashes of Angostura bitters

Just pour everything in a glass with ice, give it a little stir and you're good to go!

Before we wrap this up, just look at my home made "premium" glass! Isn't it cool? I keep them individually sealed to prevent the rocks from sticking to each other.

It metls slower so it provides a better drinking experience as it doesn't mess up the cocktails dilution.

Cheers!
