Mi cumpleaños es dentro de una semana y aunque pueda parecer un poco apresurado, desde mediados de Febrero empecé a gestionar todo lo que haré, usaré y comeré ese día; preferí hacerlo así para evitar contratiempos, malos entendidos y poder lograr todo lo que quiero para mi día tan especial.
Este cumpleaños será bastante especial porque podré celebrarlo cómo yo quiero, dónde yo quiero, con las personas que aprecio mucho, cosa que no había podido hacer con frecuencia debido a todo lo que se salían de mi control; sin embargo, mi cumpleaños del año pasado fue muy especial, lo disfrute al máximo porque pude hacer muchas de las cosas que quería y compartir con las personas que más amo así que quería superarlo.
My birthday is in a week and although it may seem a bit rushed, since mid-February I started to manage everything I will do, wear and eat that day; I preferred to do it this way to avoid mishaps, misunderstandings and to be able to achieve everything I want for my special day.
This birthday will be quite special because I will be able to celebrate it how I want, where I want, with the people I appreciate very much, something that I had not been able to do often due to everything that was out of my control; however, my birthday last year was very special, I enjoyed it to the maximum because I was able to do many of the things I wanted and share with the people I love the most so I wanted to surpass it.
Todavía no les contaré mucho sobre lo que tengo planeado para esa semana, sin embargo, les contaré sobre una pequeña tradición que tengo para mis cumpleaños.
Aunque en mi infancia no me faltó nada, entendía perfectamente lo complicado que era satisfacer los caprichos de dos niñas en crecimiento debido a las muchas limitaciones que existían en esa época, esto hizo que los regalos que nos podían dar tuviesen un valor mucho más grande del que realmente tenían por el esfuerzo implicado de nuestros padres como, también, aprendimos a cuidar muchísimo estos obsequios.
I won't tell you much about what I have planned for the week yet, however, I will tell you about a little tradition I have for my birthdays.
Although in my childhood I lacked for nothing, I understood perfectly well how complicated it was to satisfy the whims of two growing girls due to the many limitations that existed at that time, this made the gifts that we were given have a much greater value than they really had because of the effort involved by our parents, and we also learned to take great care of these gifts.
Esto desarrolló en mí uno de mis lenguajes de amor que son los regalos, dar como recibir regalos es uno de los actos de amor que más me satisfacen debido a todo el esfuerzo, cariño y dedicación que hay detrás; independientemente del regalo, sea comprado o hecho a mano, sea una carta o una simple flor de un árbol en la calle, el gesto de entregarte algo y que esa persona haya pensado en ti en todo momento, es lo que tiene valor realmente.
Como es uno de mis lenguajes de amor, todos los años en la víspera de mi cumpleaños me hago auto regalos, cositas que siempre he querido tener, comer o conocer pero que están fuera de mi presupuesto mensual; es esa época dónde le doy permiso a mi niña interior de ser feliz y dónde no me preocupo por el precio o las repercusiones económicas, para eso ahorro durante todo un año.
This developed in me one of my love languages which are gifts, giving and receiving gifts is one of the acts of love that most satisfies me because of all the effort, affection and dedication behind it; regardless of the gift, whether it is bought or handmade, whether it is a letter or a simple flower from a tree in the street, the gesture of giving you something and that this person has thought of you at all times, is what really has value.
As it is one of my love languages, every year on the eve of my birthday I make myself gifts, little things that I have always wanted to have, eat or know but that are out of my monthly budget; it is that time where I give permission to my inner child to be happy and where I don't worry about the price or the economic repercussions, that's why I save for a whole year.
En esta ocasión me compre cositas más que todo para usarlas el día de mi cumpleaños y que seguirán siendo útiles mientras duren; por ejemplo, me compré un tinte nuevo para el cabello, este tiene un precio mucho más elevado que el que yo usaba pero su calidad es superior así que decidí probarlo a ver qué tal me iba, también repuse muchas de las cosas que uso normalmente para hacerme las uñas.
Otra cosa que me compré para mi cumpleaños fueron unas piedritas brillantes que se usan para adornar el maquillaje y una blusa con el color de la temática de mi cumpleaños: Rojo
This time I bought little things mostly to use them on my birthday and they will be useful for as long as they last; for example, I bought a new hair dye, this one has a much higher price than the one I used to use but its quality is superior so I decided to try it to see how it works, I also replaced many of the things I normally use to do my nails.
Another thing I bought for my birthday was some sparkly stones that are used to decorate my make up and a blouse with the colour of my birthday theme: Red.
Aunque todos estos regalos me encantan y son cosas que quería, solo son complementos porque el verdadero regalo requirió mucho más tiempo de realización debido a que es un suéter confeccionado a medida y bordado con un logo muy especial pero eso no se los mostraré todavía, eso será contenido exclusivo para mi #CumVlog.
Fue un día muy especial y emotivo, mi mejor amiga me acompaño a hacer todas las diligencias y cuando terminamos, nos fuimos a comer papitas fritas en McDonald's; esto es solo el inicio de un buen cumpleaños, espero les hayan gustado las fotos que hice para este @liketu; nos vemos pronto💙
