I have come to learn more about the charm of boating life again over the last couple of weeks. The whole idea of being on a sort of camper vehicle but then on the water, ending op in places where some of them are super charming and some of them are a lot less charming.

And also it really depends on how your vibe is when you are entering in. When the day was full of fantastic sails, high fives and cool stuff, you enter a bay or a harbour in a sort of euphoric modus and everything is just awesome. It almost doesn't matter anymore if the harbour is full with rats, or mosquitos or if you are sweating your butts of. Or even if the harbour is far away from eveything of maybe just even being way too loud. The same with anchoring....There are some lovely anchor spots, but when a boat full of big fishing guys comes laying next to you, the experience is just a bit different. But who cares if you are on a high because of how the day was.

I also found that I really love the sight of boats just laying somewhere on a chill. The sticks sticking out of the water has just some sort of poeticness over it. And also what I have noticed is how everyone is so helpfull to each other with grabbing lines in these harbours. If that is only because they don't want you to ram into their boat, well....that can be debated ;) But also that is just fine, the fact that everyone helps for a bit symbolises how the world on the water works. You can get into trouble easily without even doing anything wrong, but just because stuff breaks. And then you need some help from your friends.

Those sticks sticking out of the water all together is to me the defintion on how it should work. Grabbing lines, fixing stuff with each other and then having a beer on after together.
