My love for nature continues. I always TREE-at myself with a dose of nature vibes whenever I get stressed out by a tremendous workload. Mountain hiking could be one of the best activities to do during this pandemic. Aside from it's very hassle to move to different places due to enhanced travel restrictions, it also isolates you from crowds of people and it's an unlimited source of fresh oxygen which is definitely good for our health.
I've recently hiked the famous Spartan Trail in Cebu. It's known in the hiking community as a training ground for mountain climbing enthusiasts before going into a major climb. As I'm planning to have a major hike in the future, I've decided to join this death defying experience with my friends. I've already posted a blog about the trail so if you're interested to read about it just please kindly scroll in my feed.
For today's episode, I'll be sharing some interesting shots that we took during the hike. The activity was mostly river trek and a mountain hike so it's expected to see beautiful insects, unfamiliar flowers, plants and trees. We just couldn't stop taking photos while traversing the long forested pamutan river for having picturesque view of the mountains. Along the way, there are molded stones, fallen trees, huge, snails and colorful butterflies.
If you've been hiking for quite some time already, you'll know that you don't easily get hungry in the middle of the forest since you know where to get foods. We experienced picking fruits up and drinking water from the flowing river. Though, it's still advisable to prepare or bring food and drinks before hiking because we'll never know we might encounter some unfortunate events during the activity and you might decide to go overnight or camping instead.
That's basically it, I hope you liked this episode and I hope to interact with you in the comment section below. Everyone's glad to hear the stories of yours! Just always remember that learning is a lifetime process. You can learn from your experiences, trips and from other people. The world is so vast. Explore and Learn! Traveling isn't is as expensive as you think! There's a so called travelling on a frugal way with a purpose!
DEUCES!
