One cannot think, LOVE, or sleep well if one has not dined well.

The big platter!
Coffee, anyone?
We were out today for various reasons - some documents that needed processing. From there, we picked up a box of pizza for my sister, and got myself a cup of milk tea. While waiting for the takeaway, I took photos of some interesting things on the food house's wall. While I haven't been to any of the places on those frames, I do recognize them. The yellow cab of NY, the red phone booth which is an iconic symbol of Great Britain, and the clock tower (Big Ben). I did see a few red phone booths during my trips to Hong Kong many years ago and so as the clock tower.
Anyhow, from the food house, we dropped the pizza at my sister's clinic and then left soon after to my in-law's place. The old man was not around so we had to feed his dog. Also, the husband needed to check on Mister B and plan for the incoming cropping season.
We spent about 3 hours there. We could have gone for an adventure but it was hot so our little guy and I stayed in the car. Here's my boy trying to strike a pose for the camera😅
Thought of going for a short walk along the street while waiting for the husband but it drizzled a bit. It made me think the first rain of the year might be coming within the day. It turned out to be a false alarm. But who knows it might come any time soon.
We then drove to the casa afterward where we enjoyed a meal. Took this shot of the almost clear sky along the way.
The next stop was to the husband's friends. They needed to plan for their alumni event. My energy was a bit deflated so I opted to have a nap. We were on our way home at around 8 pm when we got an invite to Manny's birthday party. We couldn't say no so we thought we would just show up for a while and then escape when no one was looking. Unfortunately, it took us over an hour to get out of the place, courtesy of our Anyongi who kept barking which gave us an excuse to leave, haha!
It's been a long day...
