I am continuing to return to my parents' home. Today, I went to Senzu station of Oigawa railway for the first time in a while. Oigawa railway is a railroad company in Shizuoka prefecture, where you can see a steam locomotive still running. Of course, you can ride on it!!
My grandmother's house used to be located further into the mountains from this station. Most of the time when I went to my grandmother's house, I took my parents' car, but several times I rode the Oigawa Railway with my cousins. I remember that the fares were very expensive even back then, so we could not take the train very often.
In Oigawa railway, "Thomas the Tank Engine" has been running since 2014. Today we were able to see Percy, Hiro and James at Senzu station (unfortunately we didn't see Thomas). 2 years old nephew was very happy to see them ! On the other hand, my second son was not so impressed as he is not so familiar with Thomas...
It's kind of strange to have the Thomas of the world running through my hometown. I wanted to brag a bit, so I posted this on HIVE.

引き続き、実家に帰省中です。今日は久しぶりに大井川鐵道、千頭駅に行ってきました。大井川鐡道とは静岡県の鉄道会社で、ここでは現役で走る蒸気機関車を見ることができます。勿論、乗ることも！
以前は母方の祖母の家が、この駅のさらに山奥にありました。祖母の家に行く時は両親の車で行くことがほとんどでしたが、何度か従姉妹と一緒に大井川鐵道に乗って行ったこともあります。当時から運賃は高かった記憶があり、あまり頻繁に乗ることはできませんでしたが。
大井川鐡道では2014年から「きかんしゃトーマス号」が走っています。今日は千頭駅に停まっているパーシー、ヒロ、ジェームズを見ることができました（残念ながらトーマスには会えず）。2歳の甥っ子は大喜び。いっぽう次男の方はというと、あまりトーマスに詳しくないため反応は薄めでした・・・
自分の地元を世界のトーマスが走っているなんて、何だか不思議な気分です。ちょっと自慢したくなりHIVEに投稿してみました。
