Tomorrow will be the first round of the presidential elections here in Ecuador, at present the topic regarding this is quite delicate, but I want to talk about all the positive things that also happen on these dates.
I have one of my older brothers, named Fabian in another city, he lives in Guayaquil, 3 hours away. Both on holidays, but especially at election time, my brother has to come to the city where I live, since he exercises his right to vote here and has not wanted to change his polling place just to have the perfect excuse to come to Portoviejo.
Today my brother arrived and we decided to meet for a while at my older brother's house (Felix), so soon I must go to see them, for this I prepared some delicious snacks, with cocktail type breads, stuffed with tuna. For this preparation I chopped some seasonings, among them: half a tomato, a small red onion, some parsley, red and green bell pepper and I also added salt to taste, pepper, half a lemon, a touch of mustard and mayonnaise.
Once everything was ready, I started to assemble my little breads and with a wooden stick I hold them, and on top I put half a Cherri tomato for decoration, this way everything will look nicer and it will also add an extra flavor to the little bread like a snack.
This is very easy to make to share with others, so I hope my siblings and family like it.
Mañana será la primera vuelta de las elecciones presidenciales aquí en Ecuador, en la actualidad el tema en cuanto a esto está bastante delicado, pero les quiero hablar de todo lo positivo que también sucede en estas fechas.
Tengo a uno de mis hermanos mayores, llamado Fabián en otra ciudad, el vive en Guayaquil, a 3 horas de distancia. Tanto en los feriados, pero en especial en tiempos de electorales, mi hermano tiene que venir a la ciudad donde yo vivo, ya que él ejerce su derecho al voto aquí y no ha querido cambiar su centro de votación justamente para tener la excusa perfecta para venir a Portoviejo.
Hoy llegó mi hermano y decidimos reunirnos un rato en casa de mi hermano mayor (Félix), así que dentro de poco debo ir a verme con ellos, para esto preparé unos ricos bocaditos, con panes tipo cóctel, rellenos con atún. Para esta preparación piqué algunos aliños, entre ellos: medio tomate, una cebolla morada pequeña, un poco de perejil, pimiento rojo y verde y añadí además sal al gusto, pimienta, medio limón, un toque de mostaza y mayonesa.
Una vez todo listo comencé a armar mis pancitos y con un palillo de madera los sostengo, además arriba les coloco para decorar, medio tómate Cherri, así todo se verá más bonito y también le añadirá un sabor extra al pancito tipo bocado.
Esto es muy fácil de hacer para compartir con otros, así que espero que a mis hermanos y familia, les guste.
