Reflecting on our lives

Have you ever wondered why people look out the window? I recently realised whenever I worry or I feel tensed or not able to fall asleep, I automatically walked towards the window and looked up at the stars. I can’t explain it but it would calm me down almost immediately. May be my brain processes how tiny I am or how small my problems are in the vastness of the universe. Now that I live on the 27th floor, I not only have the view of the stars but also buildings and moving traffic. Whenever I don’t get sleep late at night, I see the moving traffic and a flood of thoughts come to me. Some people may be partying hard, some just want to get home after a hard day’s work and some who are like me are just glad to be home safe with family. That feeling of being grateful fills my heart with contentment, and eventually I doze off.😇

Anyway, I had started this with the thought of making a window around her. But I got exhausted guys. I do art only during my toddler’s nap time. He doesn’t like it when I don’t give him attention when he is awake and I like it that way. We both are in the best phase of our lives and I don’t want to miss a single thing of his growing up.

So me looking out of window turned into me reflecting on my thoughts. Which is basically same 😅 I think it turned out to be poetic and may be better? After all we are all reflections of our thoughts. Pun intended!

Love to hear your thoughts about my art ☺️
