There is no other way to put it. If it weren't for her I would never have bought these. I have been using a pen mostly, for years. Whenever I need to put something to paper it is a note, a memo. But now I bought these. It is doodle time!
The colorful collection of velvet tip pens turned out to be different from what I expected but still looks like fun. The 5-pack are the quality ones she[^1] is also using. The others are "el cheapo". Despite their price, their colors are lovely.
To see their actual color, the first page of the sketchbook was used to try them all. It almost felt like I knew what I was doing.
One weird thing I noticed. Not sure it is that obvious on screen, but the lighter blue turned out darker than the darker blue. Do you see that?
You are probably going to argue I mixed them up. That is not the case. You can see the thin lines in the other picture. That is when I tested them again.
The "el cheapo" thick ones bled through the page onto the one beneath it. Good to know.
There is no excuse not to doodle. I will show you my work doodles next time.
