Jesus came to have life and heaven more abundantly.
That could mean so many different things on so many different days because it's continuous just like he is. He doesn't begin or end because he's God. Healing, favor, forgiveness. The list goes on and on.
But this is why discernment is so important. And this discernment comes from the Holy Spirit. Discernment lets you know if what's inside the gift that is offered to you is worth opening based on what you know about who God is. Without you even having to open it or having to go through the heartbreak, without you even having to go through the peace that's taken from you.
Because let me tell you, everything that glitters ain't gold. The next time you see a free gift, I want you to ask yourself, does it reflect the character of Christ?
It might look good, but what is the Lord saying?
Let me take it to God in prayer. Let me test it against the acid test of the word of God because that don't lie.
