My Entry To The Monomad Challange - Reflecting On Recent Captures

This is my entry to the daily #monomad challenge.

For the past two weeks, I’ve been unable to stay active as I should, but that’s going to change this week. However, my inactivity never stopped me from capturing some appealing pictures with my phone, which is always by my side everywhere I go.

This is a very recent one and I was surprised this butterfly wasn't even bothered about me closing in on him to capture his nice dotted wings.

This last weekend I passed by a house and I saw the fence being the typical fence you would see around here with the barbed wires all hovering at the top to keep perpetrators from having a safe flyover.

The fence is what many consider a must today and within those walls we consider ourselves to be safe. There's a solar panel hanging there too which is meant to illuminate the surroundings at night.

There is something interesting about this plant. It's a local plant and also it's considered a norm to have one of these types of plants around your backyard or anywhere around there house.

Over my years on this rocky earth, I've only heard people say this plant has just one function and that is to stop snakes from snooping around the environment. This plant's aroma or smell is said to be the one that keeps the snakes away, how that works, I do not know, but I've seen this plant being planted just for this main purpose in houses with no fence.

Maybe it's best to get a fence than to put all your hope in one plant. But it cost nothing compared to mounting a 4-6 feet fence full of bricks which I think is much safer because it doesn't just keep the animals away it keeps the humans away too.

You'll have to be a visitor and a known one to be knocking on anyone's gate but when there's none people kind of have the motivation to enter into your home and say hi, even known unwelcome guests. But with a fence, you don't have to answer to unwelcome and unwanted guests anymore.

Trust me unwanted guests are like thorns, they are not good for anyone.

Better to mount those four walls leverage, if you can.

But in cases where we can't, it's better to get those plants to keep the snakes away and also get a dog to secure the perimeter.

This is a local dog and it's not one of those security ones you find on the tv. These ones just bark when a stranger is within the perimeter. They don't bite, but they bark and trust me they bark the loudest but are the weakest friendly dog species I've ever seen. They can become even too friendly sometimes when they don't bark at some of your regular visitors anymore but they sure are good ones to keep around the house with or without a fence.

I took this one while on my way to a friend's place, actually, I'm going there to talk about a freelance skill acquisition which is UX/UI design.

However, on my way to his place, I saw him at the small playing field I use to talk about going to, either to play table tennis, or football or just sit, watch, and take pictures.

Which I did(sit, watch, and take pictures)while having a chat with my friend before he joined other players on the playing field.

Now the game is on...and this is where the post ends.

I hope you liked them and thanks for reading thru or glancing thru, every effort is appreciated including your comments.
