Hello everyone, my friends in the black and white community. I hope everything is going well over there. I'm Menti, and I'm back with another blog post and another photoshoot. This time, the photoshoot has a bit of a vintage feel. I've combined a cool street style with my studio photography skills and, considering my knowledge of my model, I've completed this project with good lighting and a variety of poses, mostly involving play and creating changes in facial expressions.
Initially, I took a few close-up portrait shots. The focus was on the face and eventually the chest area. He had some beautiful tattoos in these areas, and since I wanted to focus more on them, I framed the shots in this way. I used two lights.
My key light was an octabox, which I placed at a 45-degree angle and raised it as high as possible, lowering the head of the light as much as possible. And another light that I sometimes directed at the background and sometimes from behind my model to create a rim light.
He had a distinctive style. A thick neck and a bit of extra weight completed his package. Whenever I look at the photos, I feel like he could play a role in gangster movies. The photoshoot continued, and I zoomed in on the details a bit. I asked him to take off his clothes so I could photograph the lion tattoo right behind him. In the same vein, I took separate shots of the tattoos on his hands and his neck tattoo while wearing a chain around his neck.
I then took a full-length shot of him, up to his knees, with his hands folded in his lap, and I photographed him looking at the camera or straight ahead. I must admit, he was one of the best models I've had in a while. Interestingly,
I also captured his laugh, and his laugh sounded like a mocking laugh, as if he was belittling the person he was addressing, and that was truly something innate.
Finally, I created a video file from the photos, which you can watch at the end of the post.
I'm so glad to be back among you dear friends, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your hard work. Have a good day.
