Today is a rainy day and the rain has a particular effect on me, it inspires me to write in my blog! So I want to share some pictures I took in a pet store. I don't buy pets but I usually go to those places to see the animals, fortunately here in Spain at least you can see that they are very well treated.
Of all those in the place, a group of sea turtles caught my attention, they made me remember that my daughter was given one by some friends when she was a little girl, she took good care of it but after a while the turtle died and my daughter suffered a lot, after that we gave her a virtual pet that were in fashion, but we did not know that they also died, then she suffered every time that happened so we hid it until the sadness passed and then we did not give it to her anymore.
From then on she grew up alone surrounded by dogs, they live longer and give you more joy. I don't know if it is good for children to have the responsibility of taking care of a pet from an early age, in my daughter it forged a strong character and an unwavering love for all animals, so much so that she has already picked up a puppy and two kittens from the street, I think that if she has the opportunity to buy a house with ample land she would pick up many more!
I hope that the little turtles in the pictures I share have good families in the future and that those who buy them have the same love for animals as my daughter has.
