The other day, I was at a friend's house trying out some lights he bought. They're not professional lights, just small LED panels for parties. I didn't have much faith in them, but they turned out better than I thought. I took the opportunity to do these portraits with analog lenses. I'm not one to say that it’s the photographer, not the gear, because it varies a lot and depends on various circumstances to be summed up in such a phrase. If a good photographer has a good camera, there's a chance the photos will be better than those taken by a good photographer with a crappy camera. In the end, this isn't entirely true either, because I could be wrong. Anyway, we did the best we could, and I think the result is decent.

En estos días estaba en casa de un amigo probando unas luces que se compró. En realidad no se trata de luces profesionales, sino de unos pequeños paneles led de fiestas. No les tenía mucha fe, pero al final no resultaron tan mal como creí. Aproveché de hacer estos retratos con lentes analógicos.
No soy de los que dice, no importa el equipo, sino el fotógrafo, porque eso varía mucho y depende de diversas circunstancias como para resumirlo en una frase como esta. Si un buen fotógrafo tiene una buena cámara, hay probabilidades de que las fotos queden mejor que las de un buen fotógrafo con una cámara cutre. Al final esto tampoco es cierto a ciencia cierta, porque podría equivocarme. En fin, hicimos lo mejor que pudimos y el resultado me parece decente.
