Monomad || Ancient Rome in Black & White

This is my first entry for the #monomad challenge.

I like the mood and the simplicity of the emphasis on shapes and the play between light and shadow that are highlighted in the black and white photos. I think it is precise that the historical texture of Rome fits this concept very well.

Here are some photos from Rome that I have taken.

Rome is one of the most amazing cities I have ever visited. Wherever you go, you will be surrounded by remnants of the city's rich history. There is so much to see, visit and learn in Rome that you may not have seen everything you wanted to see in a week.

Pantheon the best preserved Roman buildings and is the center of the square with bars and cafes. Originally a temple of the gods, it has had several uses throughout history and is now an active Catholic Church.

It's interesting how the mood changes with the highlights or shadows. The historical textures revealed through layers of paint and time-worn objects impact the soul if we focus inside the images...
