Arab Stallion Psydream and His Handler (Monomad Challenge)

Horses are part of the Moroccan heritage. I took this photo at Hotel Selman, Marrakech.
In Morocco, it is costly to keep horses. They are a status symbol and are treated like family members.
The stallions in the Hotel Selman were selected animals of high value. The stables were well-kept and offered some protection against the summer heat thanks to their thick walls. These horses were better accommodated than many Moroccans, but their life in the shiny stables was not very horse-friendly.
