MONOMAD: Fishermen Repairing Fishing Nets

It has become a habit for fishermen to repair their damaged nets and this activity is usually done when they are on holiday at sea. A few days ago when I went to Ujong Blang beach, Lhokseumawe City, I saw a fisherman repairing his broken net, he carefully knitted the broken nets one by one.

Before I took a photo I had a chance to talk with him, I asked him about the activities that are currently being carried out, he politely answered all my questions, from there I got information that every time the fishermen go out to sea they always repair their nets and generally this activity done on Friday.

Here are some of my photos for today's #monomad entry.

Besides the fishermen repairing the nets, there were also some boys playing football, but the fisherman was not bothered even though the ball occasionally played by the children hit the net that was being repaired.

Not far from where I was standing there were two teenage girls who were busy taking pictures once in a while they glanced at me as if they knew I was aiming at them.
