Expressive Portraits - This is my entry for the #monomad challenge
Two years back during a Photowalk at the old market of Chandani chowk In the National Capital of India, Delhi. I clicked some of the people (with their permissions of-course) in their daily work routine.
Let me explain what is going on here... This guy is a porter, he carries big loads on his cart from one place to another because the streets of Chandani Chowk are really narrow and with too many people visiting the market. It's all his muscle power in use.
Now this guy is also a porter but without a cart. What he does is, he picks up the load on his shoulder from the cart and drop them to the respective shops which are located in even narrower lanes of the market.
This guy owns a small tea stall in one the narrow lanes of Chandani Chowk. He was sitting there and I asked him if I could click his portrait, he humbly accepted my request and posed for camera. And later I had a tasty cup of tea.
