Hi everyone!

Have you ever felt complete and 100% at peace in your life? That day I was feeling exactly that when entering this natural pool. This little piece of paradise is called "Abreu" and is located on the island of Fernando de Noronha, here in the Northeast region of Brazil.

To get to this natural pool I followed a 100% dirt trail, no paved perimeter or anything like that. During the 30-minute journey, I went through some more difficult sections and a descent between rocks. But nothing impossible to do, there is even a rope on site so you can support yourself and make the journey over the rocks.

Of course, it is very important that you do everything calmly and carefully to avoid accidents. After all, this trail is far from the central region of the island, where there is often no internet signal, not even to connect... which makes it difficult for firefighters to rescue/medical care.

After finishing the trail you will find this beautiful and transparent natural pool. It's worth taking your mask and snorkel to see the fish that live there. But be careful: standing, kneeling or leaning on the bottom of the pool is not allowed. And as a measure to protect corals, the use of sunscreen, moisturizing creams and similar products is not permitted before entering the pool.

I recommend that you visit this place between the months of June and September, when large waves do not often occur on the island of Fernando de Noronha. I say this because bathing becomes dangerous due to the waves entering the place strongly and hurting whoever is there. One thing I'm sure of: you won't regret it when you visit the Abreu pool.

Aloha, galera!

Você já se sentiu completo e 100% em paz alguma vez na sua vida? Nesse dia eu estava sentindo exatamente isso ao entrar nessa piscina natural. Esse pequeno pedaço de paraíso chama-se "Abreu" e está localizado na ilha de Fernando de Noronha, aqui na região Nordeste do Brasil.

Para chegar nessa piscina natural eu percorri uma trilha 100% de terra, nenhum perímetro asfaltado ou algo do tipo. Durante os 30 minutos de percurso, eu passei por alguns trechos mais difíceis e uma descida entre rochas. Mas nada impossível de se realizar, inclusive existe uma corda no local para você conseguir se apoiar e fazer o trajeto sobre as pedras.

Claro que é muito importante que você faça tudo com calma e atenção para evitar acidentes. Afinal, essa trilha está afastada da região central da ilha, onde muitas vezes não há sinal de internet, nem mesmo para ligar... o que dificulta a velocidade de resgate pelos bombeiros / atendimento médico.

Após finalizar a trilha você encontrará essa linda e transparente piscina natural. Vale a pena levar a máscara e o snorkel para contemplar os peixes que vivem ali. Mas atenção: não é permitido permanecer em pé, ajoelhar ou se apoiar no fundo da piscina. E como medida de proteção aos corais, não é permitido o uso de protetor solar, cremes hidrantes e similares antes de entrar na piscina.

Eu recomendo que você visite esse local entre os meses de junho e setembro, quando não é frequente a ocorrência de grandes ondulações na ilha de Fernando de Noronha. Digo isso porque o banho torna-se perigoso em razão das ondas adentrarem fortemente no local e machucar quem ali estiver. Uma coisa eu tenho certeza: você não irá se arrepender quando conhecer a piscina do Abreu.
