This post is supposed to work as a guide for anyone who enters the community, here you'll find the basic steps to take and all the fundamentals.
⌠First of all, you need to make sure you have your keys stored somewhere safe, they're needed for basically everything you DO at hive. For example: a vote (â¤ď¸ď¸) is considered a transaction, since HIVE is a blockchain based system. You will need your keys to participate and retrieve your coins.
If you lose your keys, you won't have access to the funds on your account anymore.
Hive Keychain is the wallet you'll use at HIVE and you need to input your keys for it to work.
After you make sure your keys are stored and your wallet is setup safely, it's a good idea to follow these steps:
Setup your profile with a cool picture or an NFT that you like.
Take a look at the communities here at HIVE and join those you find interesting.
Look for friends or people that put up content you enjoy and follow them.
Introduce yourself on a post (inside Surfhive and also on your blog) so more people will get to see ya! Don't forget to use the #introduceyourself and #introducemyself tags!
Participate and publish your posts inside the communities related to it.
