A beautiful parcel arrived just now, from further north in Italy, containing a luxurious variety of artisan baked magic!
Living in gift can - especially whilst transitioning out of conventional commerce - mean having less fiat currency than most... Which can mean that these kinds of luxuries are seldom indulged in!
I have a few incredibly generous gifters and patrons who support my lifestyle both financially and, like here, through extra special surprises that bring such joy and extra dimension to a day.
This has always been part of my own use of gift culture - finding the right and perfect new home for a painting, a plant, anything that isn't perfectly right in my own home or life....
Passing what no longers serves us, or giving to someone who needs or can benefit hugely from the gift, is a potent leveller and opener of energetic flow: instead of competition and grasping/ clutching - allowing all good things to come to us and go from us freely and without contract or tension.... This changes the world.
Many blessings to all,
Clare
