Acehnese traditional cake named "TIMPHAN"

Basically the people of Aceh have a variety of traditional cakes which I cannot describe one by one here and the way to make them is also very complicated and requires skilled hands. to be able to print it and all the materials also come from the natural village and also the tools are very traditional so that the results of Acehnese handicrafts have a distinctive taste that is not the same as the province - other provinces in Indonesia.

You need to know that the people of Aceh have very high customs and culture and are respected by all people and recognized by the world and Acehnese cuisine must be maintained because this is legacy of ancient ancestors. And according to my memory, the traditional cakes of the Acehnese people include 32 types and all of them are still well preserved until now.

1 glutinous rice flour 1/2 kg

2 10 ripe king bananas

3 Vanilla to taste

4 Then stir until it becomes a dough

5 And provide grated coconut that has been stirred with palm sugar

6 And provide two pieces of
unopened banana leaf shoots and then tear them 20cm in size

7 And take the flour dough the size of quail eggs then press it with your palms and put the grated coconut that has been cooked with sugar

8 Then roll it by folding both ends then place it in a pan with a support and add about 1 liter of water, try not to let the water touch the dough

9 And after steaming for 1/2 hour then remove and drain then serve.
