My first day of school:

Today marks the eagerly anticipated beginning of a new school year, a day I have been looking forward to with great excitement. I am thrilled at the prospect of starting my classes at noon.

As the clock struck 11:30, I made my way to school accompanied by my family in our car. The anticipation of the day ahead mingled with a sense of nervousness within me during the journey. The car ride was a cacophony of emotions, with excitement and anxiety vying for dominance in my mind. The bustling streets and chatter of my family members added to the swirl of thoughts in my head.

Upon reaching the school premises, my anxiety surged as I was greeted by a sea of people, making the surroundings feel overwhelmingly crowded. The palpable tension in the air seemed to amplify the thumping of everyone's heartbeats, including my own. Amidst the commotion, I grappled with a sense of impending doom, fearing a potential fainting spell in the midst of the bustling crowd. Navigating through the throng of students, I treaded cautiously, mindful of the pressing bodies around me. The thought of being trampled in the chaos propelled me to stay alert and composed. The sheer number of students in the vicinity was staggering, with each section accommodating a significant number of peers. The school's bustling corridors echoed with chatter and footsteps, adding to the already charged atmosphere.

I didn’t take a picture of the crowded surroundings (because There were too many students.)

Finally reaching my classroom, I waited outside as the morning classes came to a close. The seamless transition of students in and out of the room showcased the efficient scheduling of half-day sessions. This arrangement, necessitated by the sheer volume of students in the school, ensured that each section had ample time for learning and activities. And there are over thirty sections in a grade, each accommodating forty-eight students😨.

After the morning class concluded, I found myself in a classroom filled with unfamiliar faces, causing me to tremble with anxiety as I grappled with the prospect of introducing myself to strangers. Struggling with social anxiety and devoid of familiar companions, the task seemed daunting.

However, a ray of kindness pierced through my apprehension when a fellow classmate approached me with a warm greeting. Expressing empathy for my situation, she decided to sit beside me, offering much-needed companionship and support. Her friendly demeanor and genuine concern quickly eased my nerves, paving the way for a blossoming friendship. As we engaged in conversation, I told her about being a transfer student, and she graciously shared insights about the school and its vibrant community. Embracing me as a friend, she took it upon herself to show me around the school, acting as a spirited guide to the various facilities and landmarks. Her extroverted nature shone through as she greeted fellow students and staff with enthusiasm, effortlessly initiating conversations and fostering connections.

(I didn’t take a picture of her because that would be rude.)

Her infectious energy and inclusive nature made me feel welcomed and valued in this new environment, transforming my initial apprehension into a sense of belonging. Through her kindness and companionship, she not only alleviated my social anxiety but also instilled a newfound sense of confidence and camaraderie as we navigated the school grounds together.

I was feeling apprehensive about the possibility of facing suspension for our tardiness again, but to my relief, no consequences ensued as we proceeded to join the class. As we attentively listened to the teacher introducing herself, a familiar acquaintance arrived late and took a seat beside me. She happened to be from my previous school, albeit in a different section. The joy of encountering someone from my past school lessened my anxiety. Today, I not only made a new friend but two, which has left me elated.

Today, being orientation day, our activities were somewhat subdued. Beginning with a science lesson, followed by Aral Pan, our adviser, the day commenced with the routine of attendance-taking.

In the midst of our academic pursuits, a peculiar incident unfolded during the science class.

Our teacher regaled us with a haunting tale concerning a majestic tree, known as "baliti,"

standing tall near our classroom. Warned to tread cautiously and maintain silence around this ancient tree, we were cautioned about unsettling encounters experienced by our teacher in its shadow. The eerie notion of an unseen presence lurking within the tree, beckoning with faint whispers of "pst pst pst," sent shivers down our spines, especially considering our proximity to this enigmatic tree.

Transitioning to the next subject, Filipino, we encountered a minor disruption as the teacher arrived late.

My new friends and I got hungry, so we decided to get snacks outside. But they were still doing the task our tezcher ordered them to do, while waiting for them I was getting bored and Decided to take pictures with snapchats funny filters lol😆.

When My friends finished doing the task the teacher ordered them to do We went outside the campus. We found some street food and got kwek-kwek, which tasted good even though the eggs were a bit off but I didn’t care anymore because I was super hungry.

We also got drinks, and to our surprise, our friend treated us. It was a kind gesture that made our day even better. This spontaneous display of generosity further solidified the bond among our newfound group, fostering a sense of unity and care within our blossoming friendship.

Amidst the whirlwind of emotions and the palpable energy of the school environment, I stood poised to embark on this new chapter of my educational journey. The daunting prospect of the day ahead was matched only by the excitement of the possibilities that awaited me in my new academic setting.

And the end.
