I'm #alive! And I hope you all are too!
Hello everyone! I have been so busy with life but I wanted to cope up with you. How's life? Has it been all good? It's a little past half of March and it seemed like time didn't pass at all to me in how quick things had gone
Anyway, we all have different experience in life and here is one of mine that's worth to share.
So I have been dreaming of owning a bulldog but my Lifestyle doesn't fit for it (yet, hoping it will in the future ) and my wife don't agree to have pet at home to refrain the kids of getting rabies which she got a point too. I had no idea what rabies is until I saw videos about people getting infected and the idea of keeping pets were instantly gone to the farthest corner of my mind. Despite that, my fondness on dogs could never be denied.
So after our dog died last year which we accidentally adopted, we did not adopt more because of the hole he left in our heart and we are not ready yet for another heartbreak. Digger was on of my mother in law's dogs and when he was still a puppy, he got overdose on dewormers and almost died.
Weak and dying, he was unleashed and fought for his life alone. I felt sorry for him and fed him every time he comes to my house and petted him telling he should fight and live. Perhaps the food and love I gave encouraged him to live. He kept coming back in my house and fed him l the time and soon he recovered and lived. The for ahd grown fond of him too and had no excuse to pet him. He was allowed to come inside our house and my kids loved him and too. Yet life is unpredictable and it was taken from him.
One day, I was on a basketball league, being one of the referees I got invited to the coordinator's house and met this amazing dog.
As what all dogs do, he barked a lot when we enetered the house but soon wagged it's tail for me.
He was very friendly, and he loves being petted. I stayed with him more than half of the time I stayed in the house and got to befriend him while others were chatting. He was so amazing and so I took pictures for souvenir.
I was still reluctant to come near him but his waggy tail suggested I should and I did.
He smelled me probably to know if I brought danger or food but I don't have any of the two.
He kept smelling, but his wagged his head causing the picture to blur
He keeps smelling and now it's more like kissing! He must have been loved by his family so much.
The owner got amazed on how his pet got comfortable with me and told me his name was Lester. He was such a stout bulldog! He stays on his cage most time of day and gets his walks during weekend on the neighborhood.
Yet just like all good things, my stay ended as the game has started yet our wonderful moment had been engraved in my head.
