Hello Asean hivers!
I hope we are all safe and sound, specially there are earthquakes happening in other countries these days.
Bible month was actually celebrated during January but due to the adjustment of classes it was celebrated in this school last February 4. This celebration is a reminder that we need God in our lives and also a way to introduce the word of God to our children and to those people who don't know about it yet. We may have different religious belief but I know that having faith in God really creates miracles during difficult times. I personally experienced this kind of miracle in my life and I'm really grateful for it.
These are the nursery students, including my youngest. They are taking photos while waiting for their entrance, even the principal and other teachers took a photo with them. They were so happy that these little kids are now big girls and boys, they are behaving so well.
It's me and my eldest while waiting for her little sister's entrance, she's a little bored yet excited to see her sister perform on stage. Stage sister, is that you? She is really a supportive sis she even give some advise on how to look confident on stage.
They walk with partners and I can say that they nailed it!
They were the first to perform because they are performing the doxology "You raise me up".
The first plan was for them to perform together with the kinder but 2 days before the program their teacher was inform that they will be performing the doxology. Thankfully, they did it!
They were so happy with their costume and I'm proud to say that it was made by her teacher Ruby and teacher Jomar.
The school let the parents join the picture together with the kids and two nursery teacher: Teacher Ruby and Teacher Kaye.
These are the kinder students who perform a dance "Armor of God".
The Grade 1-3 impersonates their chosen bible characters and brought placards with their bible verse.
The Grade 4-6 performs a battle between good and evil through dance and some fighting scenes. The lower grades and even us parents enjoyed their performance.
The school spiritual director, a Pastor prayed for us parents too. This last part is actually emotional to some parents who have a heavy burden in their hearts and their life. I can say that even if a person have lots of material things sometimes they seek for peace of mind through prayers. There are times that we are misunderstood by others but only God knows our true intention and that's the most important thing. Do what is right but don't let other people abuse you just because you wanted to help them. They can't be helped unless they him themselves, the courage needs to come from them. The pastor said that if the time comes and we are struggling making decision for our children, we need to pray for guidance and always pray for them.

The programs takes more than two hours, their little tummies are growling. We are about to eat lunch at home so eating light snacks will do just to not feel hungry when traveling back home.
I'm really a proud mom here, while watching my kid perform I felt emotional. Again and again I still can't get over to the time that I was still carrying her in my arms, when she was just a toddler and now she is growing so fast.
